it's a stockinette in the round

kind of month...

this is indigo ripples from Interweave Spring 2007. Here is the ravelry info page. I'm loving the pattern, it's amazing how quickly, just plain old stockinette goes, compared to cables, lace, fair isle, it's just the kind of knitting I need right now! I'm about halfway through the lace section, I actually think I may have the skirt done in time for warm weather! The yarn is Elann Den-m-Knt, I got it for a steal, I think I paid 30-40 bucks for a whole bag!
This lovely vision in red is Wendy Bernard's Somewhat Cowl. It's taken me over a year to figure out what to do with the seven skeins of Blue Sky Alpaca I scored at my LYS. I think this project is the worthy one, it's relatively quick, I'm almost done with the waist decreasing, and a nice, classy, but not dowdy fitted sweater that will go just as well with jeans or a skirt!I've also updated Robby's blog. So, if you need some cuteness, head on over!

I love that skirt. It's going to be just beautiful. I haven't made it (and won't) because I have one and only one strict knitting rule for myself: no knits below the waist. The knit skirt has not been conceived that would not make my hips look like an overstuffed sausage wrapper. No matter how cute the skirt, it will not look good on me. This is my mantra, and I will not be swayed. But I would love to see a modeled pic when it's done!

I think that sounds like a wonderful way to use the Blue Sky yarn! That skirt will be to die for!

That skirt is going to be beautiful; and it'll look perfect on you. Wendy's patterns are great; good choice for your Blue Sky yarn.

Your sister Kathy ( I saw her at reunion this weekend) recommended that I check out your site and I am glad I did. All of your FPs look great!
