wool rulz

This is actually the second wool soaker I've knit, this is the leggings pattern from the Opinionated Knitter. It works SO well, and they are nice and cozy for winter. I made them out of Cascade 220, 1 skein, using size 4 needles. It's a quick project, and EZ really knew what she was doing with this pattern, the high waist is perfect for cloth diaper bottoms. Check out Robby WALKING in them on www.robbycubed.blogspot.com. If you can't access it, leave me a comment and I'll set you up!

Here is a progress shot on Tangled Yoke, I'm so close to being done, I just need to do the neckband, and the buttonband, and block of course.

Wow, look at Robby, walking already! It seems yesterday that he made his first appearance. :)

Oh my god--he's WALKING! How did that happen?! Other people's kids aren't supposed to get older. They're supposed to keep looking like their pictures.

And now the real fun begins...

I think knitted wool soakers on babies are the cutest things ever! Your TYC is looking pretty great too!

love the soaker and the motion you caught when you took the picture, i love the way they hold their hands when they are walking. yeah, the boys are early, granted they are taking 6-7 steps, but it crazy. i turn and find owen or mace just stepping away. i love the tangled yoke and would attempt it if we had winter round these parts. it is going to look awesome, it already does!
