Ravelry

I'M IN! Turns out I got my email May 2nd, but it went to my junk mail, I found out when I submitted my email to see how far down the list I am. I've uploaded about half my stash, but haven't submitted any WIPS in. Being somewhat of a techno geek, and being married to a techno geek, I have to say, it's awesome. The interfaces are all very intuitive, everything has worked great so far, and I love it! It's totally Myspace for knitters/crocheters, etc., but way cooler! My username is bapple, so if you are on, and I haven't already bugged you, add me as a friend!

Ooooh--I'm still waiting. Of course, being the opposite of a technogeek, even when I get my invite, it's not all that likely I'll be able to make much use of it. I still haven't tried out the photo printer I asked for, and my husband bought me, for my birthday two years ago.

I've barely even begun to add my stash; I've only added the stuff I already had photos of. I need some time to organize and photograph my stash. At least this is the motivation I need; the stash has needed some attention for a LONG time.

Yay for ravelry friends! I had my first real experience with addiction last night- I couldn't stop browsing patterns for the life of me. Get ready.

hi! thanks for the comment on my glee. I really do love it. :) and, yes, sundara yarn really is great. the colors are really fantastic. the superwash merino I used for glee wasn't that soft in the skein (definitely not rough, tho), but once I washed it, it softened up a lot and is wearable next to the skin. the silky merino I used before for my shetland triangle is amaaaazingly silky soft. I would eat it if I could. mmmm... definitely try it if you get the chance! :) btw, I'm not geeky at all, but I love ravelry too! yay! I'm going to go look for you now...
